Jim Van Dyke is CEO of Javelin Strategy & Research, a Greenwich Associates LLC company. Leading organizations have tapped Jim’s 30 years of digital commerce experience to improve customer acquisition and revenue while strengthening loyalty and reducing costs. As a research-based industry futurist, he advises on where, how, and when to invest in new customer technologies, from initial business case to final product launch.
Jim also serves on the Consumer Advisory Board of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), helping regulators incorporate digital innovation into planning and policy decisions.
Jim presents to audiences ranging from the U.S. House of Representatives, Federal Reserve banks, and business leaders. His published comments reach a global audience of over 40 million people per year though such outlets as NPR, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The Economist, Forbes, USA Today, The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Financial Times, and American Banker.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and a Masters of Business Administration. He resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and is an avid bicyclist.
