Alexander is an analyst in Javelin’s Fraud and Security practice. He identifies emerging cybersecurity risk vectors, tracks current trends in cybersecurity, and provides actionable insight to guide implementation of proactive security practices. His areas of interest include predictive modeling, behavioral economics, machine learning, and the intersection between technology and human psychology.
Before joining Javelin, Alexander was a systems and data analyst for EpiAnalytics, where he helped develop a machine learning model to identify and predict customer purchase intent and a Boolean text analytics model to transform unstructured data into actionable insight. He earned degrees in both Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience and Philosophy from the University of Michigan, and is slated to earn a Master of Science in Marketing Research from Michigan State University.
