Red Gillen is a Senior Adviser with Javelin’s Digital Banking and Payments practices. Throughout Red’s career, he has focused keenly on digital banking, mobile banking and payments, and health care banking.
Before advising Javelin, Red oversaw mobile and financial services development at WebMD Health Services, with oversight of online UX/UI design. Red also spent several years as a senior banking analyst at Celent. He has also held product management roles with Visa International and Coca-Cola.
Red’s research has been widely quoted in the press, including in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, Fast Company, American Banker, and numerous trade magazines. Red holds a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
