Vaskar Das leads the custom research and operations team at Javelin Strategy & Research. With over 20 years of market research experience, Vaskar brings strong project management and analytical skills to his projects. He has managed a wide range of studies ranging from brand tracking, pricing research, sponsorship tracking, advertising impact, mystery shopping, and concept testing, across a variety of industries.
His research experience spans consumer goods, financial services, internet brands, technology and telecommunications among others. He has extensive experience in multi-country projects having managed studies in over 40 countries, with a solid understanding of cultural and country specific considerations.
Before joining Javelin in 2013, Vaskar worked at Nielsen USA for nearly 9 years. Prior to Nielsen, he worked in leading research agencies in India and Bangladesh. He has an MBA in Marketing from IISWBM, Calcutta University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University in India.
