Greg O'Gara is a research professional focusing on the North American wealth management industry. He has also advised clients on fintech acquisition targets, wealth management technology platforms, industry regulation, product manufacturing and deployment strategies.
Mr. O’Gara has been quoted in American Banker, Money-Media publications, and various financial news outlets. He has moderated financial services discussions, participated on academic panels and conducted webinars highlighting his thought leadership.
Before joining Javelin, Mr. O’Gara served as a senior research analyst with Aite Group's wealth management practice. He has a strong corporate research and strategy background having worked for TD Ameritrade's business development and RIA custody teams, TIAA, Prudential, UBS, and PaineWebber (where he served in the Office of the Chairman, among other areas). Greg has an Bachelor of Science in engineering from SUNY Buffalo, an MBA in finance from Fordham University and completed post-graduate work at the Wharton School with the Securities Industry Institute.
